Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures.” - Beecher

please do ignore the mess on my desk and my pet elephant. thanks. all in all a great weekend.
this is the original painting, which i have heavily been "inspired" from. i just wanted to paint something that would match my comforter.

Pretty good effort.

One tip though. Using cloth dipped in turpentine oil to merge diff shades gives a great smooth effort.

thanks ashraf. its acrylics though so im not sure if i can use turpentine. oil painting is too hardcore for me.

:) im hoping to be golden but like the dark reflection in the water, one does have their moody days.

ok this is way more deeper than intended, i just wanted to paint something orange since it matches my comforter. i have an ikea hangover.
